AUTHOR: IAN MUTCH
In his second book `Motorcycles Forever`, Ian Mutch has produced a historic masterpiece. This is a seminal volume of fascinating pictures with enough words to lend meaning and depth. It`s far more than just a collection of images though. It`s an intriguing study of how the motorcycle culture has evolved in the UK over the last 30 years and of the battles by MAG (Motorcycle Action Group) to protect the fun and freedom of the open road. The book covers many political battles to protect our riding freedoms with a degree of humour that prevents it from becoming stodgy. There are short sections focused on factions within the biking world and facets of the lifestyles, from Rockers to Cop Clubs, beards, through to animals on bikes, all rubbing shoulders in this kaleidoscope of nostalgia, which is utterly unique within the world of motorcycle publishing.
Ian`s credentials for attempting a book of this significance are probably unrivalled. A biker since 1969, he`s worked for the Riders right group MAG on a voluntary basis for 32 of those years, professionally for the last 10 .
